Latest Labs / Life Update
« on: March 14, 2012, 03:39:42 AM »
Got my latest labs and my cd4 went up to 640 woot woot! And my viral load is still undetectable.

Still having issues with my vitamin D, Endocrinologist said it's still low, even after I had the vitamin D injection. Now I am on a prescription form of Vitamin D, one pill has 50,000 IU and I take it twice a week. I also found out my Vitamin B12 is low so I got a vitamin B12 shot and I am taking a b12 supplement everyday.

Right now I am on medical leave from work for stress, depression and anxiety. I have had a pretty bad bout of depression over the last little while. I was taking 50 mg a day of Zoloft they increased that to 100 mg/ day. For the first 2 weeks I started taking 75 mg and then in the last week and half I have been taking 100 mg a day. For the first 2 days after starting 100 mg I felt great and then it went away and I feel miserable again. I have been sleeping lots 10-12 hours a day. I have a follow up appointment with the psychiatrist and psychologist tomorrow (actually today, it's after midnight now lol). I am joining a group therapy program to work through my issues and depression.

Congrats on the numbers.  Wishing you the best on the depression and anxiety.  I, too, suffer with those.  I've been trying to get more sunlight and we've been walking the dogs everyday, as well as seeing a therapist.

I was on Zoloft many years ago.  I just remember the sexual side-effects and facial muscle twitches.  I stayed on it longer than I should, as it wasn't working for me.  I guess I just kept thinking it would finally work.  Hope it works for you.
