Please help, very anxious...
« on: March 12, 2012, 05:59:41 PM »
About 2 1/2 weeks ago I was on vacation and met a guy at my hotel. I am a male as well. One night, we ended up fooling around. I intentionally kept it to making out and receiving oral for the mere fact that I wanted to keep this situation as low risk as possible. One thing led to another and we ended up naked and grinding. He then proceeded to rub his penis on my anus. I specifically remember it being directly on my anus... at least three times. Now I know frottage is not a risk for HIV, however this man definitely had pre-cum. It was definitely rubbed on my anus. At the time I did not think anything of it because I knew there was no penetration.

However, now my worry is that some of the pre-cum might have been pushed in my anus by his penis. It could have easily been rubbed in there, correct?

Another worry I have is that at times I will notice small scrapes at the entrance of my anus if toilet paper is rubbed against it too hard. At times, small amounts of blood will appear on the toilet paper. I did not see any blood that entire day or night.  If that area was cut and pre-cum was rubbed into it, does that pose a risk of HIV? Please help me? I have never experienced anxiety like this. In my mind, I am already infected and it is driving me crazy. I was thinking about getting a RNA PCR test because I don't know if I can wait 2 1/2 more months for an antibody test. Please advise. Thank you!

Stop your worrying and save your money. There's no need for testing. There is a very big difference between frottage and insertive intercourse. Frottage (rubbing) even with precum involved is not a risk. HIV is a fragile virus and is not transmitted in that way.

You're worrying needlessly. Really.

Thank you guys for the responses. It definitely puts me at ease.

I'm sorry, I really don't want to ask again but the scrapes on the anus doesn't pose a problem??

Really appreciate it guys!

Yah, scrapes or irritations or whatever on your anus notwithstanding, you did not have a risk.

Really.

Thank you very much for the info! I think what initially set my anxiety off was the thought that maybe he penetrated me a little. But I specifically remember while we were fooling around that I was happy he wasn't trying to penetrate me. I would have definitely felt pressure of some sort and DEFINITELY freaked out on the spot. Anxiety definitely makes you second-guess yourself so much... ughhhh.
