I watched a very interesting story from this past Sunday's "60 Minutes" about how a computer worm was released and programmed to seek out Iran's nuclear program.  Most experts agree this had to have come from the U.S. or Israeli governments--or both.  It was so sophisticated.  They believe it was spread from thumb drives.  It would then search for a specific Siemens controller, a controller used by many companies to control processes.  But, this looked for a Siemens controller connected to Iranian hardware that controlled motors used to spin centrifuges.  It would cause them to spin too fast, causing them to break down.  It was programmed to not show a problem was happening.  The Iranians would believe they had bad centrifuges.  They say the goal was for this worm to do its job and go undetected for years.

But, the worm was discovered and now the computer code is out there for anyone to download.  It could possibly be turned back against the U.S. to cause damage to our infrastructure.  Many wonder whether it was worth it.  We slowed down their program a bit, but now we could have opened up a whole hot mess.  Anyway, I thought it was fascinating and I'm just waiting for the movie to come out.  It has all the makings of a movie starring George Clooney.

Oh, just for fun--- NBC News dug into their archives and posted a 30 minute report/documentary of sorts about American youth on Spring Break in 1962.  The title is, "Daytona Beach:  Where the boys went."  Sounds like a gay porn title.  I found it comical with everyone doing The Twist on the beach.  I always thought that was exaggerated, but guess not.  But, the kids aren't totally wholesome.  They are doing a fair share of drinking.  It is interesting to see how the young folk behaved in 1962 versus today.

I saw that on Rock Center last night. I LOL'd my ass off. The reporter was fixated on how much the Kids were drinking. No one would bat an eye today.

Also loved the old Listerine commercial and the '62 Rambler Commercial. Cool stuff.
