Happy ann(hiv)ersary to me.
« on: March 02, 2012, 08:35:02 AM »
Hi evryone.  Just past the one year mark since getting diagnosed.  Looking good and feeling gorgeous!
Almost a year on atripla and my cd4 is at 649,  UD, and a % of 35.
KS lesion is fading from the middle out....it is taking a while...is that normal?

Thanks for all your help and advice.  Going to celebrate with a cold one.  Bottoms up.

Hey Brenner,

Congrats on the anniversary. The first year is a tough one.

Regarding your question, yes, having the fading of KS lesions take a while to go away is normal.

HUGS,

Looks as though everything is going pretty well for you. I think it's
always tough to get through that first year, but the first year is a big one. So Congrats! You'll have plenty of anniversaries.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.  I have one thing to say, and that this whole experience has in a strange and positive (no pun intended...oh ok, intended) way made me meet the most incredible people, made me more compassionate to my fellow human and non human beings, enriched my relationship with my friends and my partner...im sounding really goopy...so i will stop.  I can hear your eyeballs rolling.
Mwwah.
