Bliss 2012, the Maitri Fundraiser
« on: April 19, 2012, 02:57:03 PM »
Hello Forum Friends,

In my 17 years of living with AIDS, I have become aware of many AIDS service organizations which stand above the rest in service and support for people with AIDS.

Maitri believes no one should die alone and have been serving people debilitated by AIDS who need Hospice care or 24 hour nursing care in San Francisco for 25 years, without government funding.

Bliss is their annual fundraising event, to be held on May 5th.  www.maitrisf.org/care/index,php/how-to-help/bliss  There are many ways to help, if you have something extra, a donation will be greatly appreciated.  Never having 2 nickles of my own to rub together, I will volunteer.   8)  Have the best day
Michael

The evening was incredible!  Picked up a copy of The Bay Area Reporter this morning at breakfast and found http://www.ebar.com/news/article.php?sec=news&article=67667  on the front page.   8)  Have the best day
Michael
