Thursday the daycare my daughter goes to requested everyone to dress up the kids in Patriots gear.  I'm a Miami Dolphin fan for life and the Patriots are in the same division, so they are despised.  My wife has proved to not be so loyal and bought a jersey for OUR daughter to wear.  Gia came home yesterday doing some awful Patriots cheer.....

I'm disappointed.  I should have called in and kept her home with me.

   Go Giants!
I despise the song Love is in the Air, you should too.

My first week living in Chicago someone said to me how bout dem bears and I thought oh my god there are bears running around in a city this big . About the third time I heard it I asked the cabby who said it to me about the bear problem in Chicago , he asked me where I was from and suggested I go back there . I'm not much into football .

A coworker just asked me 5 minutes ago if I was excited about the Super Bowl. I said "Is that tomorrow?" He just shook his head and walked away.

If nothing else, just the chance to see Gronkowski is worth watching the game.

I don't really care much for it, only if my team is playing in it, and the Oakland Raiders hasn't been to the Superbowl since January 26, 2003  :-[

However I will definitely be watching the Puppy Bowl with the Kitty half-time-show on Animal Planet cause it's so dam cute  :-*

Well gee -- every day is a day for Bitchy Queens. And just because I'm extra bitchy I'll be fierce and tie this thread topic into the halftime show by resurrecting "Queen's English" performed by Joe & Luis, the two vogue-ing back up dancers from the Blond Ambition tour (think Truth or Dare pseudo-documentary). btw, and this is the tie-in, Madonna murmers in the background of the track though IIRC she was only credited as "Mystery Girl"

... and remember the line in the song Queen's that read are the best queens

You know I love all my queens, boo --well, except for some ultra-dramatic ones who go around riding high horses with their high heels on. I happen to be a butch one as it is (who also happens to be a Jets fan --but I won't go there, especially cuz I like SoloLTS).

Uh (cough!), perhaps you may take a tour (cough!) here:

Excerpt:

"...We are proud to introduce the web's first custom-made shoe service especially for crossdressers and hard to fit women! Because our shoes are made on men's shoe bottoms, there is no need to convert sizes! Order according to your male shoe size! We custom manufacture these shoes to order. This means you choose your colors, materials and heel size & shape to your specifications. Every men's shoe size is available in both regular and wide width from 8 to 14, and womens shoe sizes are available from size 9-15 for those genetic ladies who need higher sizes. This is the perfect solution for those gals who have a hard time finding shoes to fit "just right..."

Wait a minute, I have a hard enough time finding my size in a men shoe store, seems like they only make men's boots up to a 13, and I can't even find a 14d or 14e unless I go to Cow-Town Boots here in ABQ
if it wasn't for that place, I'd be shoe and boot-less :D

My folks live near Indy.  We went up there for the festivities.  It was a mess.  Couldn't move, couldn't find a bathroom, and no cell service--OMG!  We had a conversation about how football is so integrated in our society.  If you're not into it, you have a hard time fitting in, when all your friends are talking about it and watching it.  Even at work, if you aren't in on it with co-workers and managers, then you feel different.  I've seen managers/bosses become more chummy with those employees they can talk football.  I'm not a big football fan, but I've tried to keep up with it enough to be able to discuss it.  I played basketball (played Center) all through school until I was cut from the varsity team in highschool.  That may come as a surprise to many.

Getting ready to prepare the tacos -
The chicken wings are already in the oven -
The Tostitos and salsa are on standby -

Oh, and chocolate chip cookies for late night post-game munchies.

And, it goes without saying, the Coronas are on ice.

Don't really care who wins - the Fins and Steelers are my teams - I just watch for the tight pants and the commercials (and the sexual innuendo the announcers put out without even realizing it ---- or maybe they do).

You called it right -

I'm also hoping the coin toss is "heads" cause if so, Papa Johns is giving free pizza to all of their Papa Rewards members tomorrow (Monday) - while I prefer Pizza Hut - I will do a free PJ's every now and then.

Now, I have to go slice and dice the tomatoes and prep the three-blend Mexican cheese, and lettuce... oh, and season and brown the lean ground chuck......

You know I love all my queens, boo --well, except for some ultra-dramatic ones who go around riding high horses with their high heels on. I happen to be a butch one as it is (who also happens to be a Jets fan --but I won't go there, especially cuz I like SoloLTS).

Oh no problem, sweets.  I liked the Jets at one time also: during the Namath era, that is   :-*

Hard shells, cheese, sour cream -- Mexicans don't eat tacos like that :)

Is Wumpy coming over?

ps: I want to go to the supermarket but am afraid of crowds. What time does the game start? I'll go then.

It's the Taco Bell way, gurl.  Americans like the authentic stuff.

I'd love me some tacos al carbon.

No sour cream - I don't like seeing that white stuff on my tacos  ;)

Of course Will has a standing invite...

Oh - and Rev. - no Taco Bell here - these are being made fresh with super sized shells - already got the tomatoes and lettuce ready, cheese ready, ground chuck ready.... just have to heat up the shells and warm up the meat when game time hits and it's tacos away......

Have you had them with short rib? Sooooo divine.

Damn, now I'm tempted to go get tacos at the taqueria around the corner. Tacos de arrachera regular perhaps.

Absolutely.  The best ones I've had we're bought from some little hole without a name in L.A.

Now that I think about it, I may actually get some for lunch from Taco Rico, which is just two minutes from the school campus.

No, no -- the theme is to go at 6 PM and boycott the game. Plus it will be quiet and I can look like a dried up old woman and eat alone while reading a book.
