ER doctor kinda freaked me out
« on: January 17, 2012, 10:22:16 AM »
I was exposed through sex and the guy response was "I thought we could go through this together" fucking psycho. He gave me and STI and I'm HPV, but he wouldn't confirm if he has HIV or not - which means he probably does.  Anyways, at exactly 3 months (Dec 21) I got tested and it came back negative. All the other STDs came back negative.  The results did say it sometimes takes 6 months to show, but it was unlikely. September I went into the ER because my throat was killing me and I had weird papules like things on my tongue and the ER doctor said it was not anything he could do for my throat, but the weird things were a sign of HIV. I freaked out and got check Sept 21 which was a week after I had stopped seeing the piece of shit.  I have had a middle ear infection with vertigo (which is rare for a 21 year old) and yesterday when I went back to the ER for it to talk to the doctor who diagnosed me in the middle of November - because it hasn't gone away and he scared me. He felt my throat (my lymnodes are swollen) and asked me to open my mouth (I have weird growths under my tongue and white stuff that wipes off on it - I figured that was from an hpv from his disgusting ass gave me) then asked if I had been tested for HIV. He told me to go back AGAIN. It's scary - because I NEVER used to get sick like this. I always feel like dog shit.
What's the chances that the 3 month test was wrong?  Or does that sound like something else?

You don't have HIV you have a conclusive negative test result.
