Changing from Atripla to Truvada/Intellence
« on: January 13, 2012, 12:09:29 AM »
After 2.5 years of not really sleeping too well, i think it is time to switch.  All in all, Atripla has worked well for me however it has really wreaked havoc on my sleep as far as the dreams go and if i happen to be awake 2 or so hours after, i still get pretty loopy from it.

That said, i researched a little bit and found that aside from the 2 times a day intellence,  i am still staying in the same classes I am not using up any options as far as future treatments go. My doctor feels this is the right move in fact, he felt i toughed it out with the Atripla longer than most.

My question is this;  has anyone else made this switch?  Anything im not considering?  I like my doctor very much but unfortunately i think he does at times focus a lot on the up side of things and i just would like to know what some others have experienced.

Thanks
