When I was diagnosed, I found out I had a very drug resistant strain, it's in my signature on my profile of which ones.  Your doctor will know what to do, I take intelence, viread, and combivir and I'm doing great with very little side effects.  Just have to make sure to stick with it. Don't miss any doses!!  Intelence i have to be careful with because I am resistant to every other drug in that class. You will be fine dude!!!!!!!!!

Trust your Doctor! And definitely take your meds exactly as prescribed and you should be fine.
