I can understand. I had plans to go watch a local Christmas parade. But after others in my house had colds, and now I was getting sniffles, I had to stay home rather than enjoy the fun. Standing outside in the cold and wet for hours just didn't seem the healthy choice. It's never fun to miss out on activities because you don't feel well or because you think you could get sick.

Hopefully Lugz, you and the family and can some other fun together soon. ;)

Lugz,

You're not from Columbus, Indiana, are you?  I grew up there and Tony Stewart, who just won something big in Nascar (don't follow the "sport") went to my highschool.  And, they just had a Christmas lights parade.  Just curious and I forget or missed whether you've ever mentioned where you live.

Modified:

Just looked at your profile, and you are in Indiana.  If you are from or do live in Columbus, I wonder if we've ever crossed paths.

What a small world, indeed.  I also went to North--graduated in 1994.  My parents still live there, as well as other family and friends.  I make it up there (I'm in Louisville) about once a month or so.  My first job was as a paper-boy for The Republic.  Things have changed a lot since I left.  TWO Super-Walmarts...lol.  I read the original was like the 3rd busiest in the nation that they had to build another.  It's becoming a metropolis  ::)

Well, it is nice to meet someone on here from my hometown.  Well, I wish it wasn't from here, but it is what it is.  I'm curious whether you were at Columbus Regional Hospital in that pic?  I've always thought I'm not sure I would want to be in that hospital.  They may have become a better hospital, however.

I was born in Fort Wayne. Wonder if you were at the same hospital where I was born? I haven't a clue what the hospital's name was though - I was just a baby at the time. ;D

We moved back to the Greater Cleveland area of Ohio (my father's hometown) when I was about two, so I don't remember anything about Fort Wayne at all.
