First night on Atripla went well
« on: October 08, 2011, 02:27:25 PM »
Hi, I am relieved to report that last night I started Atripla and nothing crazy to report. No weired hallucinations or sweats or any of the side effects i read about leading up to this moment. I ws very anxious, my boyfriend and I watched movies after dinner and 3 hours after eating I took the pill. About an hour later I felt it kicking in, the HD on the TV seem to be even clearer and when I got up to the bathroom from the couch, I felt a little off balance, kinda like when you had a few glasses of wine at dinner and you stand up for the first time. That was it. I am a very good sleeper and the fact that I was up at 5:30 am and went to bed at 1:00 am after the movies may have had a effect cause i slept through the night with no issues at all. I had a good appetite, made a nice breakfast, enjoyed my strong starbucks coffee like I normally do and nothing seems out of the ordinary at all. I am a bit tired this afternoon but nothing extreme. I hope this is a good sign and that nothing really changes except for my counts!!! I think the only shocker in all of this has been the price of the drugs!! It was $1400 Cdn, thank goodness for my drug plan at work that covers 90% so my out of pocket was $145 for one month supply. :)
