Hello everybody,

after reading the forums for some time now I guess it is high time to introduce myself ... I am sure that Ann noticed me lurking  around.

Here some basic facts:

- positive since January 25, 1991 (I was 21)
- got my confirmed positive test result in April that same year (had a pretty rough sero-conversion)
- started HAART in 2000; still had a CD4 count >400 but didn't want to wait any longer as there was a clear downwards trend
- my current cocktail is Reyataz/Norvir/Truvada - never had any significant side-effect
- numbers: 800+ CD4, % +/-35, UD
- I also suffer from hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiency which is affecting my day-to-day well being a lot more than hiv does
- living in Belgium - moved here a couple of years ago
- happily partnered (actually married now) for more than 15 years - so yes, it is possible to find love if you're positive - and no, he is negative

What an amazing bunch of people all of you are ....

Hi Friday, welcome to the forums. I have seen you lurking on occasion - I do have eyes in the back of my head you know, all mothers do and they don't just work on their children. ;D

Thank you for introducing yourself - and your numbers look great! Congrats on being happily married, it helps so much to have a supportive partner.

Looking forward to seeing more from you.
