Hi,

First of all my apologies if such posts are repetitive but for any person freaked out with a scare of HIV transmission, his case would seem different and hence the following question.

I was taken to a stripper at around 10pm in the night and she got very intimate with me in a lap dance and started to kiss me.
Since that was the first time i am kissing a female i got excited and started kissing.
The kiss was long and it was deep kissing with both of the tongues in contact lot of the time.
She continued the dance in between the kissing and in one such dance instance, she rubbed my head on her vagina.
At this moment the tip of my tongue came momentarily (2-3 seconds) into contact with her urinal opening/vagina ( i am not sure which part did i touch).
I freaked out and pushed her back but she continued to deep kiss me and made me lick her nipples.

I was taken aback and freaked out with the brief cunnilingus episode and kissing episode and suddenly came to my senses that i had a bleeding gum due to brushing that morning and a ruptured cheek (i accidentally bit my cheek while eating my lunch).
I felt enough is enough and came out totally freaked out.

I am totally freaked out with this episode of both kissing and brief contact with the stripper's vagina.

Now my questions are:-

1) What are the risks of HIV transmission with the above mentioned episode of deep kissing and brief cunnilingus with bleeding gum and ruptured cheek
2) I am in US for the past 15 months and that even though Oral Herpes/Warts ( i fear that their transmission could have been be possible during the touchings of the strippers body during earlier lap dance events) do not show symptoms and can be highly active, what are my chances of increase in HIV transmission, if i had any one of those, since i did not have any testing done ever, since my sex life is ZERO apart from few touchings of the strippers during lap dances.

I am totally freaked out... Please answer

You can stop worrying right now. Nothing you did has put you at risk for HIV transmission. Really.

No matter what spin you put on kissing it is not a risk for HIV. Zero risk. And your saliva contains over a dozen elements and proteins which very effectively prevent the transmission of viable HIV if it is in fact present. Further, the area of the vagina which can potentially contain HIV is far up in the vaginal cavity or cervical area, which is not where your tongue would have been touching.

What you also need to know is that the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be well protected.

There is not any reason for you to be concerned about HIV in relation to this incident nor of course any need for testing. Get on with your life.

Thanks a lot andy..

Just a quick question.
I remember i was swallowing all the saliva and taking air through my mouth so that the tongue feels dry and fresh after the kissing episode and the contact with the Vagina of the stripper happened when the tongue was dry without any saliva on it..

Does this dry tongue put me at risk of HIV transmission.

Please answer so that i can put my worries to rest..

My apologies if i am over reacting.. But Please do answer..

No matter what details you throw into the mix nothing you are reporting put you at risk. This is just your mind working overtime and with no basis in HIV science.

How much more clearly can I say NO RISK!

Andy,

I am very sorry to trouble you again with a post.

The incident that i mentioned earlier for which you gave your responses happened on feb 1st 2011 and from then on my anxiety is killing me.

I want to get tested but don't have the courage to hear anything that makes my fears true.

Today i went to a dermatologist and he says that i have seborrhoeic dermatitis which is an inflammed skin condition for my scalp and face.

When i came home with the shampoo and started to know about it through the internet, I came to know that it is a symptom of HIV.

Given that my only such contact that is a risk for HIV transmission is 6 months old i am deeply worried about the same.

Please let me know if there is really anything i need to worry.

Dermatitis is NOT an HIV-specific occurence.

No matter what your fears are telling you, you were not at risk.

To put yourself out of this unwarranted state of concern just get tested and collect the inevitable negative result.

You're scared yes, but do it anyway and end the unnecessary drama. Really.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for those replies even for my totally freaked out and senseless questions.

I have got tested and my results are

HIV 1/O/2 abs index value --- >  <1.00
HIV 1/O/2 abs qual   ---- Non-Reactive

NEGATIVE.

Thanks a lot for the whole lot of patience to reply my every question and a big Sorry to trouble you so much.

That's not unexpected news, but very happy all the same.

On with your life including always using condoms for vaginal/anal intercourse.

Cheers.
