Am I at ANY risk?
« on: August 07, 2011, 02:46:27 PM »
So I did something somewhat reckless. My friends Mom hooked me up with a 23 year old, who seemed very nice. On the first date we ended up Mutually Masturbating, and spooned naked. Here is what I am wondering, when he was jacking himself off, he would bring his hand that he was using to his mouth and lick/spit on it, and then put it back on his penis and keep doing his thing, I WAS making out with him as he was doing this! There may/must have been pre cum on his hand. Am I at any risk? If pre cum gets on your penis are you at risk? Does HIV TRULY become un-infective after exposed to the air? Of course I feel disgusted and used by this guy, as he said he would talk to me and "date" afterwards, but he just used me for a little night of fun... Good thing I didn't have sex with him! He wont even talk to me now. I am so saddened and I just feel gross and invalid as a person for doing what I did. If you guys could answer my questions I would greatly appriciate it. :)

The bottom line is that you are worrying needlessly about HIV in relation to this incident. Nothing you did put you at risk.

You need to know that the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as condoms are used everytime for those activities you will be well protected sexually against transmission of the HIV virus.

As for feeling crumby after that experience that is understandable. It's a part of the learning experience sexually. You didn't do anything wrong. Get on with your life and make sure condoms are used everytime if and when you get around to having intercourse.
