I eat lemons!
« on: September 15, 2006, 11:35:22 PM »
Whenever I tell people that they make that cringey face and ask what's wrong with me.

 :D

Doesn't anybody else eat it like a regular fruit?

I used to eat lemons, probably when I was your age...not so much anymore though.  I do like fresh lemon squeezed in my hot tea.

They always serve a slice of lemon with iced tea. I don't like lemon in tea.

But I do eat the slice of lemon, rind and all. People give me the same "pucker face" you describe.

One note of caution: The acid in the lemon can do nasties to your teeth. Rinse or brush after eating.

My daughter does the same thing.... (she takes after her daddy in that respect!)

And agreeing with Mark here... because my late husband did the same, and it made his teeth really bad... eats the enamel right off!!

Brush or rinse really well, but still enjoy your puckerface!

I eat them too. I like  to put salt on them.
They're great! People make that face at me too when I tell them or they see me eating one.
