A Game Changer In Fight Against HIV/AIDS
« on: June 14, 2011, 04:01:50 PM »
"Earlier this year, Mr. Mutisya supplied 10 Kenyans with our NatuRx™ HIV/AIDS treatment. Since then, they stopped taking their costly antiretroviral drugs and their condition has improved. Mr. Mutisya is now a believer in AquaLiv technology," added Mr. Hoffman.

There's something about their presentation of data that makes me uncomfy.

The About Us section of their website makes me even more uncomfy.

Water?

The big "game changer" here is water?

Oh, no...water filtered through a special bio-somethin-somethin machine at the cost of about $1,700.

(That's a more than $700 savings to you and me, folks.)

Thailand suddenly has a whole new lustre.

Hi George,

This description of the Scientific Team doesn't engender a high level of confidence in me. I would LOVE er, LIV to be wrong about my gut feeling on this. I have a close friend who owns a water company and this just strikes me as a very creative next effort.  Unless I missed something, I see zero HIV expertise on the team nor any collaborative relationships noted with any major medical institutions or related stakeholders.

Em

AquaLiv's Scientific Team

Craig Hoffman - CEO
Craig Hoffman is an entrepreneur with more than 15 years of business development and strategic planning experience across a range of professional interests from sales and marketing to biotechnology. Fueled by his passion for natural health, he founded AquaLiv in 2006 to bottle and distribute an advanced health-enhancing water he invented. By 2009 he had miniaturized and re-engineered the core AquaLiv technologies to create the AquaLiv Water System. Mr. Hoffman continues to guide the company as its CEO.

Known as a subject matter expert, Mr. Hoffman is often interviewed about water and health by publishers and medical doctors. Additionally, he has provided consultation to investors and others evaluating emerging water technologies.

Mr. Hoffman served as a Nuclear Engineer for the U.S. Navy. He is a graduate of Naval Nuclear Power School where he studied mechanical engineering and nuclear physics before achieving nuclear plant certification at Idaho National Engineering Laboratories.

Dr. Takemi Ichimura - Chief Science Officer
Dr. Takemi Ichimura joined AquaLiv as Chief Science Officer in early 2010 and brought with him decades of bioinformation research. Dr. Ichimura spent many of his early years aboard marine research vessels in the northern Pacific. His observations at sea fostered a comprehensive understanding of how organisms interact with their environment.

Most of Dr. Ichimura's professional career was spent developing innovative production techniques for the fisheries industry. He worked for both the Western Alaska Enterprise Company and the Fish and Shrimp Farming Co. in Tokyo and Anchorage.

Dr. Ichimura is a Japanese government Certified Engineer for the marine products industry. His innovative shrimp culture methods and technology are still used in Japan today. Dr. Ichimura also managed a central laboratory for the Taiyo Fishery Company.

After Dr. Ichimura's initial retirement, he served as Aqua Police Mayor for the Okinawa International Exhibition. Dr. Ichimura received his Masters of Agriculture with an emphasis in Marine Biology, as well as his Ph.D. in Marine Ecology from Tohoku University.

Dr. Takashi Mori - Senior Scientist
Dr. Takashi Mori joined AquaLiv in late 2010 as Senior Scientist. He possesses more than thirty years of work experience in novel pharmaceutical drugs development. Dr. Mori's knowledge of organic chemistry and technical translation skills are a major asset to Aqualiv. Dr. Mori graduated from Kyoto University with a Ph.D. in Chemistry.

After he received his doctorate he joined Chugai Pharmaceuticals Co. in their new drug planning department where he was the department's Director for the majority of his career.

Dr. Mori served for five years as Professor of Chemistry at Tokyo Institute of Technology and Kyoto University.

Kiyoshi Takasuga - Senior Scientist
Kiyoshi Takasuga joined AquaLiv in late 2010 as Senior Scientist. With over 30 years of research and development experience as well as a long list of inventions, he is an invaluable asset to AquaLiv's scientific team.

Having founded and managed Global Environmental Technology, for over 20 years Mr. Takasuga has developed new products primarily to minimize water and air pollution. Recently, he invented an inorganic electroluminescent device that was highly regarded by the Japanese Ministry of Industry. Mr. Takasuga holds two patents for a novel tourmaline ceramic technology he invented.

Mr. Takasuga also served in various management roles for the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation including Director of Science Programs. He graduated with a BS of Physics from the International Christian University in Japan.

A golden shower wouldn't be enough to obtain the desired results.  For that you would have to drink from the faucet.  Now that is hot  ::)

Never mind that.  Just drain the hose direct into your own...um...tub.  You can cop a second hand buzz while you're at it.

the pilot study only had two patients. Male Patient B never took ARVs,

while Female Patient A was on ARVs but complained about the "pain" caused by her meds.  ??? Wonder why she never changed regimens to relieve that side effect? The data seems to indicate that she was on ARVs from 97 to 06. I would say that she quit meds then, which is reflected in the large increase in her VL and a drop in her CD4s. According to this study though she is still on ARVs and the "special water", and her vl dropped and tcells jumped back up. Restarting meds could account for her improved numbers without this extra treatment of water. I think there's much more to this story than mets the eye. No where do I see any real scientific data presented to backup this company's claims.

I know a bridge for sale.  It's a special bridge, the steel cables are magnetically tuned to both the pyramids and cleansing gamma rays from outer space.   Walk across the bridge and you are cured of all viruses, but not cancer.

Interested?
