Anybody heard of MMS Solution? If so, is it effective?
« on: May 27, 2011, 04:37:10 PM »
Not sure if I'm posting this is the correct area, but I was wondering if anybody has heard of MMS? I have talked to a few people who swear by it on how it has helped them "cure" there cancer, HIV, AIDS, and other medical conditions. I know some of you don't believe in alternative natural remedies, I respect your opinion, please respect mine. Just trying to get more information on the matter.

Thank you!

Edwin

The active ingredient in MMS, sodium chlorite, is commonly used for bleaching textiles, pulp and paper. I suppose the people who make and market this stuff want you to think it will bleach that aids right outta your hair.

Ain't gonna happen.

It just might bleach your health away though.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Don't you think that if something could "cure" cancer and AIDS, that you would not need to be asking us if we heard of it?  Don't you think it would be all over the news?  Don't you think we would have all taken it and gotten ourselves cured?  Don't you think it would have spelled the end of a forum for those with HIV?
Don't you think.....   oh, right -- No you don't think.   ::)

Try to use just a little bit of common sense -- there is no magic bullet out there.

I'm quite friendly to some "alternative" remedies, but I stop reading whenever I see the word "miracle" in any product's name or advertising.
