Cholesterol level too low
« on: September 13, 2006, 12:39:48 AM »
Just got my new lab results since I switched from Combivir/Kaletra to Reyataz/Viread/3TC. I was offered to switch because my previous regimen had raised my cholesterol and triglycerides level to an unacceptable high level. Well, my doctor and I were expecting a diminution but certainly not that drastic: My numbers are now below  normal    :-[  He decided to stop the statin (lipitor) at once.

Well I'm pretty happy to have a pill less to take.
Going to a Mc Donald to celebrate  :P
The only question is: could it be dangerous to have a very low cholesterol level ???
