Ann...I love that picture of you, I believe you have shown it before.  You look so very happy and having a great time, difficult as it the work was. But being all that sick at sea and the old Captain Stubborn Bastard holding you hostage, I would have considered mutiny already!!! :D

Yeah, I think I've posted it at some point in time.

I often used to take the over-night tows and to keep myself amused I'd think up new words to old songs. Here's a couple verses of my version of Wild Rover...

The Cook he was cookin' one sunny fine morn
But when I had 'et, wished I'd never been born.
I asked him "what was that?" he replied with a wink,
"It's something I found in the pub in the sink!

And it's no, nay, never, no, nay, never no more,
though I went scallop fishin', no never, no more.

The wind it was blowin' the water was white,
So I said to the Skipper, "let's head for a pint."
He said to me "fuck off! get the gear off the deck!"
So I threw him in with it, I thought what the heck!

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I wonder how many pieces of luggage and what Strauss-Kahn  had to pack for his house arrest at the swanky hotel he has to stay at ----- I would assume, that since he is "innocent til proven guilty" that he didn't have a limit to what he could bring.  For shame, if they had limited him to the number of bags and what he could bring simply based off of some early DNA test  (Tsk, Tsk)  :-X

I said this to Miss P in another thread and I guess I have to repeat myself.

Watch your step, sweetie, you know locked-thread-revival is verboten. ::)
