??? I have a question that no dr. in this whole world can answer my question even dr. bob cannot answer the question. Is there any 100% accuracy on any HIV test.

I am tried being tasted over the pass 3years from my last unprotected oral exposure (licking vagina) i all ready done all the HIV test, 17 antibody test, 5 elisa test, 2 viraload test. 1 viraload 3 years a go and another 1 viraload on last March. Is there any 100% accurate test. Whic window period should we listen 3month? 6month? 1year? 2year? 10years? Is it to be 100% negative after the window period?

For information i have all the ARS sytomp after 3weeks, i have unprotected oral, protected vagina penetration with sex worker in bangkok. Until now for 3years i still have drymouth oral health problem, gases stomach, loose stool that really significant to HIV. now i loose my hair im 30years old this year.

I am planning to get married on june 2011 so i wan to have 100% to be sure that iam free from HIV because i dont want to infected my future wife, i luv her so much. I allready doneted my blood to the blood bank just to be damn sure that im not infected.. i know this is unmorraly way to findout about my HIV status.

Anyone can help me so i can move on a married to my lovely fiance.

Malaysia,

You have not had a risk for hiv infection in the first place.

Protected intercourse is just that - protected. Oral sex is also not a risk for hiv infection.

There have been long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

You have tested more than conclusively hiv negative. You do not need further testing.

If you feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv and you could be missing something important in your misguided focus on hiv.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Can i be confident to get married and 100% warranty that my fiance cannot be infected by me. Before i know my fiance i met my ex girlfriend about 2years back we have unprotected sex she have all the same sytomp with me. She still have a negative antibody until now. I have allready done all the STD test so far all of them are negative. I also take antidepression pil lexapro and have trough counseling over the years.

There is no 100% negative test right?? 3 years my antibody should be out by now. Is me the rare one the 0.0001% people. I heard there no 100% test ther only have 99% accuracy on elisa. Is my test result is false negative test???

Malaysia,

With all those tests you have taken over the years, YES, you can be 100% certain that you do not have hiv.

As I said before, if you (and/or your wife-to-be) feel unwell, GO SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT IT!  You could be missing something important by your insistence that the only thing that could possibly be causing your problems is hiv. It is NOT the only thing that makes people feel unwell and you have CONCLUSIVELY ruled hiv OUT of the picture.

You do NOT have hiv. No way, no how.

Malaysia,

You need to discuss CMV and EBV testing with your doctor. This is an hiv forum only.

You do not have hiv and therefore you will not infect your wife or future children. You cannot infect someone with something you do not have - and you do not have hiv.
