I can't get relax
« on: April 04, 2011, 10:18:04 AM »
Dear All,

First of all I am sorry for my english knowledge, I am writing you from Europe. I need you help, I need you advice.
In October 2010 unfortunately I was with a man together, and I think He is HIV+, and He wanted to make me sick direct:-( This is a very very strong intuition.

19 weeks after the "event" I went to a hospital, and ask a HIV test (Biomérieux, Vironostika Elisa Hiv Uni-Form II kit). The result was negative, but I can't get relax, I am not able to forget it, because of my very strong intuition, and I have OHL as well.
I am afraid very much, because I read a lot of article, and most of it says that the OHL comes out If you have HIV infection. I didn't read any other case, when anybody had OHL, and didn't have HIV infection.

So my question are the following:

What do you think about the test I made for 19 week later? It is reliable? It is good for HIV 1 and HIV 2?Should I repeat this test later e.g after 6 month?
Have you ever hear someone, who had OHL, but didn't have HIV infetion? Can be it an unlucky accident?

Thank you very much your answer!!!

Your test was reliable and conclusive. You do not have HIV.

Hi RapidRod,

Thanks for your fast answer.
What do you think about my other question related OHL without HIV infection?

Thanks a lot!!!

I've merged your threads here. In the future please follow our rule and keep all of your entries in this same thread. I am deleting one of your threads since it is a duplication.

You don't have to test any further. You are absolutely HIV negative as long as you haven't had unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse since receiving your negative result.

You also don't need to be taking any polls. HIV is not your problem. Period. End of story.

If you can't let go of this unwarranted concern about HIV, then get some professional help to deal with the problem. We can't help you with that in  this setting.

Angel,

Hiv negative people get OHL too. And unless you have been diagnosed with OHL by a doctor or dentist, I really doubt that you have it. You need to have it biopsied to have a proper diagnosis of OHL.

Whatever is going on regarding you and OHL, one thing is certain - you do NOT have hiv. You have tested conclusively hiv negative.

Dear Andy,

I am sorry for the duplication, and thank for your support!

Dear Ann,

I would like to say thanks for you as well. I haven't checked my tounge with doctor, but I think I won't go, rather I try to forget this period, and start a new and more safety and responsible life. I have learned a lot from this affair, and changed my mind about the life.

I apppreciate all of you and your activity. You are very good people! I wish you all the best!!!

Thanks,

a girl from Europe

You're welcome.

You're HIV negative. Now move on with your life and make sure that everytime you have intercourse the guy is always wearing a condom. No exceptions.

Dear Ann, Andy RapidRod and Others!

I can't say how much I would like to believe in test, and in You guys.... but I am so scarred :-(, because I have thrush on my tounge and my throat as well, which is always sensitive, expecially If I eat some hot food...
and I didn't take antibiotic...and I have never had this before really!! Whitout this I am not so energetic like before, I don't feel myself good!I feel so that something is happening in my body!!

I did the test for 19 week after exposure, but I am not sure I am really healty!
How can I belive in test if I have strange symtpoms?

What do you think?

Thanks for your patience!!!!!!!

angel,

You need to take your strange symptoms to a doctor and discuss them with him or her. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv so go to a doctor and find out what is causing your problems. Hiv isn't the only illness in the world.

You have ruled hiv out of the picture. You have tested more than conclusively hiv negative.

You do not have hiv.

Angel,

You're welcome. Go to a doctor and find out what's really going on. It's nothing to do with hiv infection and you do NOT need further testing over this incident.

You do not have hiv.

Dear Ann, Andy,RapdRod, Teak!

I know that you will be sad about that I couldn't move on....I am very sad also, because I feel something wrong with me...and I am very afraid of it...
Beside the symptoms I wrote to you, white couted hairy tounge, sometimes sensitive/burning tounge, maybe OHL (I assume only based on the internet, but it was not diagnosed) I have already teeth mark on my tounge one month, which causes the liver desease, as I know.
Why happend these things with me after the exposure...I am so desperated!
What do you think?

Thanks for your patience, and words!

Angel,

You are conclusively hiv negative. You do not have hiv.

If you feel unwell or are worried about your health, see a doctor. Nobody can diagnose you over the internet. You could be missing something important by focusing on an illness that you have already ruled out. Hiv is NOT your problem.

If you read the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned!
