I skimmed and didn't see this anywhere. A female student at UCLA posted an awful rant against Asians. First I'll post the YouTube Link, then I'll try to find the three (there are likely more by now) Asian-taped reply rants. THEY are priceless. Hers is just so, well...watch it for yourself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoLLEZlpUxk

response I like best thus far and quite talented.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zulEMWj3sVA&feature=more_related

another good reply...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOGpGoEMu2s&feature=related

and I'll try to find the Asian woman who dons a wig and mocks her Valley Girl style...bingo...

I'm 100% certain you would not like her pink top as much if you heard the audio track.

You are correct.  Some people are of that mindset however.  I have some very good Asian friends and find their culture fascinating in many ways.  If asked what my favorite cuisine is, my response would most likely be Thai or Japanese (its a tie).

Humor knows no bounds and for the most part I can deal with that as long as it is not intended to be hurtful.

You should have hear my rant when my Vietnamese neighbor lobbed a cum-filled condom out of his window which landed on my patio near my feet six years ago.  Vile!

Roh, I see now, she's the one the other videos are about.  I guess Daddy's tuition payments have just gone in the toilet.  This will do wonders for her resume.

Let me guess, she's of the attitude that her words are not wrong?

I just found out this past weekend that some of my neighbors are racist....like SERIOUSLY racist.  They were playing songs that had lyrics somewhat along the lines of "I don't like niggers" and "I hate a black skin coon".

I shit you not.

I suppose that maybe it shouldn't be all that suprising given the area I live in, but it still was.  I mean that sounds like the cross burning type of racist to me.  Little faggoty boys like me don't tend to fare well with that type either.

Same holds true for white guys dating women of color.  I made the mistake of filling up my car at a gas station in Davie, Florida back in the late 80's.  My girlfriend Sheila was in the passenger seat and witnessed it all. The only thing I remember is a pickup truck pulling up with a bunch of guys in the back.  Saw the one guy walk in front of me and the rest is a blank.  While they were kicking me to sleep they left bruises all over my back that left imprints like you find on the bottom of work boots.

I haven't been back to Davie since, heard it changed.

I've had a lot more hope for my little neck of woods in recent years.  Barely 20 years back, this was an all-white county.  Nowadays, you can see (*whispers*) black people  working in stores, driving in traffic and generally living their lives - why, almost like they were regular people just like the rest of us.   ::)  You can even see the occasional inter-racial couple now and again.

Certain things tend to jolt you back a bit.  The Obama campaign and victory was one such thing.  There was palpable tension in the air around here, but even that cooled down into somewhat tepid tea.

Then you overhear something like the music I heard blaring out of people's garages, and it reminds you just where you really are.  And how things really are - just under the surface.

Barbara please -- as of the 2000 census it was 0.35% African American.  What are you at now 1%?  I could live under the Klan Grand Wizard's clean fingernail and still see more black people.

LOL.  I'm not thinking that census is telling the whole story, though.  It surely must mean Dawsonville proper....in which case, there's barely anybody living there of any colour.  The "real" area is spread out - way out.  You have to travel a long ways to just get to a Wal-Mart.  But in the more "happening" spots (such as they are) there IS a noticeable change in demographic.

It's still small, but it's there.

But like I said...I'm trying to carry a lot of hope.  It's certainly not likely to make the short list for AMG hot spots anytime soon.

Maybe they're driving up from Lawrenceville to flip your damn burgers and sell you cheap Chinese sneakers while you white people ride your Medicare scooters and pop oxycontin -- I see there they make up a threatening race riot total of 40.61% of the population.

ok

I wouldn't get too relaxed there buddy, there's still them folks living behind you to contend with.  Teach that little bear of a dog of yours to attack a Budweiser drenched Rebel flag and you should be fine.
