Acupunture

Would like to hear comments from anyone who does acupuncture as a compliment to HAART and on an ongoing basis.  I don't but something is telling me it might be a great idea, if I can afford it that is.

I see my acupuncturist here regularly, like maybe once or twice a month. It's very affectable here (USD40) in Hong Kong but I reckon it may be more expensive in Europe.

I won't say acupuncture can "compliment" my HAART; it's afterall only a form of nerve stimulation. I can only say from personal experiences that it's especially good for dealing with stress, general body aches and sleep problems. If you see one that promises more than those I would be very suspicious.

Yeah I get your drift on the HAART.  I wasnt clear in my writing, but I wouldn't expect acupuncture to help my HIV battle - numbers, etc, - but yes, rather to deal with body - doing it as a sort of body work. I feel my "systems" crimping up, as it were.

I have used acupuncture on several occasions to good effect for pain control after an injury, sinusitis and stress. If I am stressed a couple of sessions puts a zing back in me step. It is the most blissful trip so I suggest you don't drive after the needles come out.
