Rough oral sex please help!
« on: March 04, 2011, 09:24:21 PM »
This is a great place to learn about HIV Ive been looking and researching for a while but now I have to calm my own fears.  Last night I recevied oral sex from an older man, I was kinda wasted. While he was blowing me I was also fingered at the same time. The thing that freaks me out the most is that he kinda was a bit rough and pitched my penis with his teeth. On the top near the pee slit with his. I think he wasn't trying to hurt me but it seemed he was useing his teeth and wasnt to carefull try to lick my pee slit. I didn't cum in his mouth It really lasted 2 minutes becuase I had to run for work. But now it seems i have two very very tiny dots near the tip of my penis (you kinda have to look for it dots) and it feels all pitchy. I dont think its an open cut because there isn't any bleeding at all. at first they were purple last night now they are pink tonight.  I am nervous becuase of the whole leaving a mark on me really scared me. Am I at risk for hiv???? I will be getting tested shortly but untill then I need some kinda of peace of mind since i have a pitchy pain reminding me how stupid I am. I hope this could help others when it comes to biting and such.

Bobby, receiving oral is one of the most common of sexual activities. In the entire history of the epidemic there has never been a single confirmed case of transmission in that manner. Not one. It's safe to say that no matter what details you throw into the mix as to what happened, that you are not going to make history by being the first to have been infected from getting a blowjob.

Test if you want to for your peace of mind to receive the inevitable negative result.

The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. If you use condoms consistently for intercourse you will be well protected. It really is just that simple.

Okay thanks. One more thing and I  know this is a dumb question but last night I was masterbating a man with my saliva. He had cum on his penis from earlier that night I guess. While I was doing so some of it splashed in to my left eye. It didn't burn but the next day my eye started to feel sore. I also today have been touching and rubbing it alot. While I was at work I started to get nauseated and my body felt heated. I felt like I was going to faint. It happen for about a minute and the went away. you guys said I have no risk when it comes to oral, and only anal and vaginal sex but this situation is so odd even to me that I had to ask. I ve gotten tested twice in the last 4 months. I'm so sick of being paranoid and stupid. I hope everyone on this bored can answer this question in detail of way it can or can not happen. Thanks.

Bobby,

Any time you rub your eye a lot it's going to feel sore. So knock it off.

You were not at risk from this incident.

Sorry, I posted a new thread by mistake. One more question Tonight I went out to a video store and met a man, went into my car and gave each other blowjobs. I'm clealry paranoid, I'm I at risk? Should I even get tested for the third time. I didn't swallow, no cum went into my mouth and I used alot of salivia (just incase he pre cumed), I MEAN ALOT OF SPIT. It was like globs of spit.  Anyway my stomach hurts my nose feels runny blah blah paranoid. But am I at risk? it was at a porn booth shop, and I new very little about him. He was nice and was amazed that I even asked him about his statues he said he was neg., I told him that I wont do anal, because I rather do it with someone I love and or trust (condom or no condom). Plus I read what Ann said about getting HIV and how to be safe. I just get so nervous because I read that its a slight risk when you give. should I get tested and of course be nervous, or should I move on with my life and just start dating for once? I'm also trying to cut back my doctor visits, I think he's starting to get annoyed.

Bobby,

Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect. For this reason, oral is not a risk.

Test if you want, but don't be surprised by your negative result.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!!!

Thanks Ann,
But I read on another post that it wasn't safe to give head, but it was safe to receive head. Could this be true. And also is it true that the gay community is at higher risk of HIV infection? Or is that something against homosexuals. I'm sorry for the crazy questions. It's just this year I just started to be sexually active, and I never had sex before last year cuz I was in the closet.

Bobby,

I don't know (or particularly care) where you read that, but I do know you didn't read it in this forum.

The only true risk group is that group of people who have unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse with persons of unknown or positive hiv status.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Do yourself a big favor and stop surfing the net about HIV. If you do keep searching I can guarantee you will find lots to feed your worst fears and all to no good purpose.

You've gotten the real deal here in the responses you have received. Really.

Okay Andy, I know Its been since August, since i had so many question. I even had safe sex with a guy and felt well not paranoid. Even got tested 3 months later and I was fine. Unfortanlly I became stupid just yesterday. I had a bad day and got wasted. I got so drunk that at 4 30 in the morining I went to a video store in NYC were there is a basment (Theater) guys basically did it right there. Every time I start thinking about it I start crying so I'll keep this short. Yes I gave head, Hand Jobs, with four guys. The only problem is that I don't if I got fucked. I know some guy tryed to figure me and I prbally said no and stopped him. You see I never had anal sex before. I know one mans dick was close to my ass because I was sitting on his lap. But I wasn't thrusting. I went home sobering up crying. I called people and they said I was fine that I shouldnt have cuz I didn't practice anal sex and if I did get fucked I would know. My hole wasnt bleading and didn't hurt. The only thing is that my entire body hurts thighs arms lower abdomenal pain.alittle tingle at the end of my uretha. some scrap in the knee, might not be from tat place. am already calling my doctor this monday and planning on getting test for all STDs and HIV test in 4 weeks. My docter does testing for the anti bodies. I'm so scared and nervous. I haven't eaten since and everytime I do I wanna throw up. I've been crying alot. I have never been so scared before in my life. I know the other posts were scarying for me but this is horribley scary. Ive been so good for months since you last told me but me being drunk this time and in a place were i don't know anyone. I'm so scared some couldve cut me or someone had something. I'm so sorry for bothering you guys again.

From what you have described I don't see that anal intercourse happened. Particularly since you aren't experienced with that, your anus would have been sore afterwards if anal intercourse happened.

So this is really about "what ifs" and some shame about the overall experience. The real red flag in all of this is that you were so drunk when it happened. Mixing casual sex and excessive drinking is a dangerous combination you need to avoid in the future.

Go ahead an have whatever tests your doctor suggests. Other STDs are much easier to acquire than HIV. We do advise anyone who is sexually active to regularly have a full STD panel done. I don't see risk for HIV being an issue for you at this time.

okay so i tested negative, and I'm tried to stay away but I rectanlly I had a terrible incidnet. I few days ago I was celebrating an event and got to drunk again and ended up in the bad part of town. Long story short I gave a guy a oral/handjob. as he did to me and he came on my hand. I didn't have intercourse and I made sure of that. But I was drunk and I have a fear that I couldve been stuck with a needle by some one or something when I was walking around. I know it sounds silly but the day after I started to too get sick, sore throat, watery under the eyes, head feels big and a bit of a headeache, then sweating, and upset stomach everytime I eat something. I am just getting over the sypmtoms now. its been 4 days since this horrible dumb mistake. My questions and of course final post cuz I hate annoying any of you guys. Is getting stuck witha needle an urban legend? or true?
Should I get tested after 6 weeks?
and Did I just go threw ARS?
And also cuts threw out the body can get infected?
I tried checking out the other posts but the question werent really the same as mine.

Did you not re-read your thread?

No one has ever been infected with HIV by "accidentally" stepping on a needle. That's absurd. If you are trying to tell us that you shared an IV drug needle with a person whose status is unknown, then you absolutely have an HIV risk.

Otherwise, of course not.

And I won't even address the sexual aspects of your story and "concern," which seem oddly immaterial to your question about the errant needle.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Bobby,

The symptoms of hiv seroconversion - when they happen at all (they don't always) - do NOT happen the day after infection. It takes a couple weeks for them to show up. Whatever was wrong with you the day after your celebrations had nothing to do with hiv in relation to what you did that night. It sounds like you had the flu - and guess what, it's flu season.

The whole thing about getting stuck with a needle is an urban legend and NO, it's not true.

Re-read your entire thread. Our answers concerning your sexual activities are not going to change.

thanks Ann,

I reread my thread, thank you about the needle question though. Its just that I heard so many odd stories growing up. I did practice safe sex meaning (not having intercourse). So i shouldn't have been on here to ask the same question twice. Its just that I got sick the day after and I freaked. Thank You again for educating me.
