I saw "The Wicker Man" , starring Nicholas Cage today....I wanted my money back!

I'm the type who prefers a happy ending (gee, who'da thunk it?   ;D )
and this one left you with a real uneasy feeling.....

Plus, someone like Zsa Zsa Gabor could play a sexy "Queen" of a tribe of women, but Ellen Burstyn?  Pu-lease.  (and I LIKE Ellen Burstyn)

I know this is a remake, maybe the 1973 version was better, I have never seen it.

Alan,

May I suggest then, a repeat viewing of one of my "favorite" films -- "Queen of Outer Space," starring Zsa Zsa Gabor?

"I hate her.  I hate zat queen!"  (I feel your pain, Zsa Zsa!)

Oh what the hell....just rent "Showgirls" too and make it a real corker of a night.  Booze would be a nice accompaniment, if only for your own sanity though.  ;)

that's the movie I had in mind John - "Queen of Outer Space".   Now SHE knew how to play it!

I really wanted to see "Hollywoodland" but it is not playing in this one horse town yet....also want to see "The Black Dahlia" when it comes out.

crud, that suxors, as we like Nicholas Cage.  Oh well, I guess he just wanted to keep busy.  I think I am going to look at going to see Jet Li's "last" martial arts flick, as I do like his movies.
