HELP!!!! SCARED! HIV FROM FROTTAGE
« on: February 10, 2011, 03:43:41 PM »
First of all, I am not gay.  I am straight and married, but when my wife was out of town I went on craigslist and found a tranny prostitute.   We kissed and she dry humped my leg and we had frontage.  I was scared because it had a bloody nose halfway through and I heard that is a sign of aids.

Two days later I also had a bloody nose!  I also felt queasy and thought I was going to throw up.  Today, I had diarrhea.

Do I need to get tested or is all hope lost????

Concerned in Newton.

Please do not refer to transgender people as "it". Doing so is extraordinarily offensive, transphobic comments are not tolerated in this forum.

Bleeding noses are not a sign of HIV infection. Frottage is not a risk for HIV infection. You were not at risk and you do not need to be tested for HIV.

If you feel ill, see your doctor.

We do not discuss "symptoms" here. We only talk about risk behaviours.

HIV is transmitted via unprotected anal and vaginal sex, sharing contaminated injecting equipment such as needles and syringes and in some cases from HIV positive mother to her unborn or nursing infant.

None of those things apply to you, therefore you were not at risk of being infected with HIV.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and familiarise yourself with the posting guidelines and our testing and transmission lessons.

Mos,

You've already had a second opinion - Matty's. Now I'm going to give you a third. You were NOT at risk. Kissing is not a risk. Dry humping is not a risk. Frottage is not a risk. You had no risk.

The symptoms you report are absolutely not indicative of hiv infection. Go see your doctor if you feel unwell. It's nothing to do with hiv as you had no risk.

And by the way, we don't care if you're gay, straight or anywhere in between or even outside the box. What we care about are risk factors. You did not report any risk factors.

Get on with your life.

A) A bloody nose is not a sign of AIDS.

B) HIV is not transmitted through frottage.

C) Even if by some miracle this person's nose blood landed on your mouth, there would be no chance for infection. Saliva contains over a dozen elements that neutralize HIV. There is absolutely no chance for infection in the exchange you describe.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Mozzie,

We have answered your questions. You do not have to be tested for HIV as nothing you did placed you at risk of infection.

If you feel guilty because you had sexual relations outside of your marriage -- well that's something we cannot help you with.

Please be aware that posting endlessly about non risk situations is against our rules.

Getting AIDS test tomorrow but know it will be POZ
« Reply #8 on: February 10, 2011, 05:33:44 PM »
I recently had a heterosexual experience with a transsexual escort I met off CL.  She was definitely high risk prostitute and had AiDS symptoms.  I think she bled into my mouth.   We did not have sex but we did dry hump each other and I got a lot of her saliva while we were playing kissy.  Tomorrow I am getting a test.   Becauss of the diarrhea and fever, I am sure it is over.  I am hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.  Pleasse pray for me.

Mosquito,

you are not authorized to post in the "Living with HIV" forum.  Limit all your questions and comments to your original thread in the "Am I Infected" forum.

And I will be the fourth person that tells you you were not at risk from this encounter.  Stop it now.

Mosquito,

You had no risk based the behavior you report. If you post again outside of Am I Infected, or continue to post excessively about the same risk incident you will be banned. Be warned.

Mos,

I merged the thread you created in the Living forum with your thread here in the Am I Infected forum, which is the ONLY place you should post.

You would have known about this rule if you bothered to read the Welcome thread like Matty asked you to well before your illegal foray into Living.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and familiarise yourself with the posting guidelines and our testing and transmission lessons.

You absolutely did not have a risk with the escort. If you test positive, it most certainly will have been from some incident where you actually had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse.

If you continue to disregard our posting rules, you'll be given a time out. Simple as.
