Update now that it is calming down a bit
« on: January 25, 2011, 02:10:37 PM »
So we are now 3 weeks old our little Angel baby.  it is starting to calm down a little bit.  hubby is back to work, mom went back to FL so it is just me and Gabi for the last 2 days.  We are doing ok but just trying to get days and nights straight and also break her of the being in someones arms at all times.

I went to the Dr for my follow up to get my blood work done and get back on my normal every three month schedule.  My numbers came back and were the best ever.  My cd4 was 954 and vl was undetectable.  This is the best yet and not what I expected.  I figured with the surgery and stress and so on they would be off but not so.  Great news on my part.

I also did a follow up for the baby.  After our one week old scare where the little monkey had to go to the hospital because she aspirated and was turning blue, the most scary thing I have ever witnessed.  She is doing much better now we had to switch her formula but all is well.  So we did our follow up and got her first results that they drew while we were in the hospital and they were negative! YAY!!!  They did draw more blood and we will be getting those results in 2 weeks when we follow up.

So now I am starting to get a little more time to get back on track and have to start figuring out the best way to use this time.  I have to get used to trying to clean in between naps and start cooking earlier because things don't always  go as planned but we will get it.  So That is it for now.  Hope everyone else is doing well.
