Our favorite restaurant got busted...
« on: December 10, 2010, 03:00:53 PM »

Our favorite Chinese buffet restaurant, was busted this past Wednesday, for human trafficking.  Ed and I always thought something strange was going on in this place, and we often thought that trafficking was taking place.  There was too much change in staff, or should I say their indentured servants:

wow that is way close to home!
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

Aren't there any decent mom and pop Chinese restaurants anymore? I like that scene in a Christmas Story where the xmas dinner is ruined so they go eat duck at the local Chinese restaurant.

The food was great, but I don't think we'll be heading back there again.  We drove by there today, and they were open.  We went to another Chinese buffet. I don't anticipate this place being open too much longer.

On my way to the pharmacy today, I noticed "China Light, Mandarin Cuisine" was closed.  It must have been the West Coast division.  With "China Light, Mandarin Cuisine" closed the customers can eat at "International House of Pancakes"   ;D  Have the best day
