Evening, the boys have recovered from the night before and would not be in sight in the wee hours.

Hey Joe, actually, the evening is better...I was watching CNN or some other show, and they did a study...it showed that our immune systems are weaker in the mornings and at their peak in the evenings around 7 or so...So, that morning workout may not do any of us any good...and to stick with something later in day...

Good luck, and have a good work out!

It depends on what "feels" right, what works best for you. Some people swear by their morning workouts, leaves them feeling charged for the day; others prefer going after the work day is over, some even late at night. You're supposed to avoid working out too late though, close to bedtime -- makes it harder to sleep apparently, but that isn't the case with me. I personally like going around 4 or 5 pm, the after-work crowd hasn't crowded the place at that time.

Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

You go whatever time best fits your schedule so that you end up actually going.

The evening works like a charm. However, go with what fits better with your schedule.

Have the BEST Day!

It depends on what you're trying to do. if you're trying to lose weight/fat and do cardio then the morning is the best time to go because your body has been using up all the carbs and cals while you're sleeping so that when you wake up in the morning, before you eat, when you go run/exercise you will be burning right into your fat stores. If you're trying to build muscle then the evening is the better time because you have a full days worth of calorie intake ready to go to use as fuel when working out.

I wake up at 5am and run for 120 minutes. At night I go around 8pm to lift, mainly because the gym starts to clear out by then and I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner so I have enough energy to train decently.

Thank you. :)  I ended up finding a gym buddy.  Unfortunately, his schedule requires that we go to the gym at 5 a.m., so I've adjusted my sleep schedule to accommodate such an early endeavor.  The gym we go to is 1 block away from Castro (Gold's Gym) so in the afternoons and evenings, it's populace provides a sexual charge that we don't seem to get in the morning - and makes the whole adventure a great deal less intimidating.  I kind of like not feeling intimidated that way.

Although this morning someone did comment at the bite marks on my back (which I forgot were there) when I showered, saying that he was jealous. LOL  He was very hot, but I was too horrified that he had seen them to ask him out. :)  Maybe next time. :)

Suntropic... running for two hours pre-dawn, then weights at 8 pm, presumably a full working day in between, and also sex with your insatiable girlfriend repeatedly every night... HOW do you do it?  :o  ;)

Jay...

I was wondering the same thing.  And it's a little know fact but our friend also enjoys vodka, tequila and wine. Also, he's getting ready to go to Amsterdam and Italy.  We know he'll be busy there.  Add in the meds and, well, I'm just left all agog.

There is something he is not telling us.  Perhaps there is a secret elixir involved.
