Shingles and shit
« on: November 16, 2010, 05:17:21 PM »
Demoting a hardworking but ineffective manager.  Asking an analyst to type up his resignation.  Merry fucking christmas. No pay rise in two years, but hey lots of options that are probably practically worthless.  Having work dinners, where gay consultants dis HIV.  Fights with the mister.  A new boss that's the worst kept secret, and will possibly wipe us all out and bring in his own team anyway.  Immigration paperwork long overdue.  US taxes even longer overdue (why the fuck do I still need to pay).  And a case of the shingles.  More painful than I thought.

2010 couldn't end quick enough.

Here's to 2011, at least we get a new holiday (I think), as the future King has finally proposed to that commoner, who's supposedly just like everyone else (and by everyone else, they mean everyone, especially those about to thrown out on the street cause the gov can't afford social welfare anymore, are wealthy enough to attend the most expensive boarding school in the country).

But words to live by...."In the end it's just a virus. Treat is at such, Make others do so."  V true.  thanks mister.

I am sorry to hear about all the crap going on in your life. No wonder you have an outbreak of shingles.

Be forgiving, be grateful, be optimistic
