You should see the name of the town directly to the southeast of Bumpass.

Also, for extra credit, Miss P attended university 35 miles from Bumpass.

The Virginia Barber College and Institute of Nail Care is near Bumpass? Who woulda thunk it?

Don't joke about such vocations -- my best friend charges $400 per appointment (plus tips) to color hair at Henri Bendel.

I've scanned my notes and I see Richmond as the place of your Alma Matter. Btw, i lived in Fredericksburg, or just outside of it for a bit.

Ah, we used to call it "Fred Vegas" when we drove up the interstate to DC, due to all of the huge illuminated signs.

My alma mater was this.

Are you referring to the "happening" Beaverdam, VA??

Having lived in Richmond for the last 10 years, I am not surprised to hear of your alma mater -- those VCU students make up a large portion of the Craigslist postings (so I am told......)    ;D

Small world. I used to live in two small podunk towns called Gloucester, VA and then Mathews, Va. Not much there to speak of when I lived there and I used to go to Fredericksburg at least once a month to visit relatives living there...

ahh, LOVED Fredrock. There was a tiny Gay Bar in back of a restaraunt downtown (cant remeber the name of it), and I mean TINY. I Actually lived in a little place called Lake Caroline about 15 min south of Fredericksburg off 95. Would probably still be there if it wasn't for the Jerkoff A-hole I moved up there with.

So when exactly was this?  Did you ever drive down to Richmond?  I actually had lots of fun in college, at the time ruling the roost at the members only Fielden's (where I knew the owner who allowed me to do cash advances on credit cards to buy cocaine), with drinks before hand at Broadway Cafe where 65 year old drag queens tended the bar, and they had those circa 70's speakers with the pulsating colored lights, and copious amounts of Rick Astley remixes.

Geez, that must have been during the 80's?. I was in Fred about 5 years ago, oh and I just remembered the name of the Gay BAr, it was Merriman's. Never got down to Richmond, well except for that late night that I packed up my truck and took off to Texas while my ex was sleeping, had to drive through Richmond.
