Heat, Sweat , Isentress & Truvada
« on: August 29, 2010, 11:19:57 AM »
I was wonder if anyone else taking I&T sweats profusely when doing physical work? When I am working in the yard my cloths are soaking wet in a very short time. Granted it has been hot and humid but I did not have this occur before I started meds. Could this be a result of a metabolic change and my body fighting to regain its health?
Peace,
Billy

I just switched to I&T combo this month and its been nothing but good here .

The only helpful suggestion I can think of is to call you pharmacist and ask if perhaps he or she has heard of this side affect . I'm a firm believer in asking my pharmacist about my meds before calling my clinic . Clinics can take days to answer what a pharmacist can do in a single phone call sometime .

I have been taking it since March and other than a little gas in the beginning I have had no other problems. I guess that it could be that I feel so good now and could just be working more between breaks.

I sweat profusely on all HIV meds, but fortunately all of my tricks think it smells like a slice of heaven.
