 Original question. should I start meds after over 25 yrs of hiv. Is that not long term ?

Hi Chip, welcome to the forums.

I puzzled over this thread until I discovered that another forum member sent you a PM telling you that you should not be posting in this forum. Unfortunately, he was wrong and had no business sending you that as he is not a forum moderator, even if his actions were well meaning, which I'm sure they were.

Anyone who was diagnosed before 1996 and the advent of HAART is qualified to post in this forum and that certainly includes you.

As you have asked the same "when to start" question here as you did in your other thread (albeit with the LTS aspect), I'm going to lock this thread so you can have all your answers in the one thread. It's easier for everyone.
