Any HIV Blogavists Out There?
« on: July 08, 2010, 03:31:24 PM »
Hey everyone,

My name is Meisha and I'm completely new to the forum so thanks for having me, I think this site is great.

I'm an intern at Better World Advertising in San Francisco, CA. Better World is a social marketing ad agency, which means that we only work on campaigns that promote social causes such as HIV/AIDs awareness/prevention, Adoption/Foster Care, Safe use of injection drugs/immunization, etc.

We currently have a campaign called "HIV Stops with Me" (hivstopswithme.org), in which real people living with HIV share their experiences in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. We need more people to contribute to our monthly blog question and I was hoping that someone from these forums might be interested in participating. There is one question per month and you simply answer it with your true, honest opinion. An example of a question that we might use is "If you had the chance to speak at the upcoming AIDS Conference in Vienna, what would you say?"

Please email me a meishat@socialmarketing.com if you would like to learn more. Also, feel free to check out hivstopswithme.org and socialmarketing.com if you want to learn more about the campaign.

Thanks so much everybody, hopefully I'll hear from you soon.

Hey Meisha,

It's polite to contact the Administrators of a site/forum before you come in and start flogging your wares.
