Ok silly question of the day, why is it people don't like to be annoyed? My friend hates when I try to tickle her neck. I don't see the problem with it??

My friend hates when I try to tickle her neck.
because you're invading her private space?
Personally, having been brought up in a very non-touching home, I'm leery and hesitant of even shaking hands with people, and will shudder and pull away when people try to hug me. (of course, none of that applies when I'm being intimate with someone ;) )

but look at the definition of the word you used: annoy
1 : to disturb or irritate especially by repeated acts
2 : to harass especially by quick brief attacks
Are you really asking why someone wouldn't like to be disturbed, irritated, or harassed?  ???

here are some other people's opinions
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_excessive_tickling_abuse
(i googled "why do people not like to be tickled?" to find this page)
"And the person being tickled always has the last word on where the line between fun and harm is drawn. Permission is also the element that separates sex from rape, or accepting a gift from theft, or a visit from a home invasion."

Speaking of being annoyed, I get annoyed when a new person comes in and 1) starts posting where they shouldn't be and 2) doesn't let anyone know anything about them, such as whether they're hiv positive or not. That is kinda the point of this website, after all.

It's quite unclear why you're here. I mean look at your first post - if you hadn't noticed, this isn't a car-buyers forum.

And please stop posting in the Am I Infected forum unless you have questions of your own, in which case you should start and stay in your own thread. OK? Thanks.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

An administrator shouldn't be able to be ignored (or hopefully has the ability to remove the ignore block); how else will that member ignoring her know when they've been given a time-out or banned. :D

Eh, never mind, lion53900, you're banned once again. And we'll keep banning you.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Naw. I've been ignored by that member since forever. He hasn't even posted here in like a few years.

I, unlike you mere mortals, can see who is ignoring me and who anyone else is ignoring or being ignored by. :)

redjerk got banned because he's a previously banned sock.
