Post number 1000!
« on: May 17, 2010, 03:19:48 PM »
That's right kids I've officially broken 1,000 posts in...probably somewhere around 6 months, which means I need to go back to working full time and stop spending my time perusing this and manhunt.  I'd like to thank all of my friends who have gotten me into back and forth action as well as all the people who flamed me for making me make snarky comeback posts, but most of all I'd like to thank my left and right hands as without them none of this would be possible.

Good grief! :D do you comment on every thread?  :D in 4 yrs I don't even have twice that amount! :o of course, if you really had anything worth saying in your posts then this milestone might really mean something.  ;) :D ROFLAMO

Of course, I'm just kidding you man. I've enjoyed chatting with you and your input in the forum. :-* When you start up an egotisical thread like this one, you gotta expect these sorts of comment. It's like a celebrity roast :-* ;D

Mine says I have 609 posts (well, this will make 610) and I registered my account on Oct 30, 2009.  I'm doing about 3 per day it says.  Maybe I need to hush up..lol.

Even with the occasional fighting (and I like a good debate), I have found this site to be therapeutic for me.  I can discuss and learn.  Just like a family, you can get into a fight/debate and then offer or get comfort from those same people.  I'm getting all sappy now.

Congrats on your 1,000 post!  Hopefully, we'll all be around for number 1 Million..lol.

Due to the recession, the AIDSmeds forums will no longer be rewarding compulsive posters with electric toasters. (and I'm a poet and didn't even know it!)

Starting immediately, toasting forks will be issued instead. You'll have to supply your own campfire.

Mikey, Ann forgot to mention the forks are plastic.  Unfortunately, not good for campfire s'mores.

Good thing that Miss Trey is not allowed to post in the LTS or AII? areas; otherwise we'd be acknowledging his 26,000th post.  Phillicia and La Damned would look like total n00bz next to him.

As for the gold star that's in the mail, I don't know his name. Watch for a big package.

You were  cheated, madam. Your toasters (all seven of them) kept getting redirected to a certain sock in NO. Evidently the redirects were caused by the same virus that was redirecting people to their homepage. Shit happens.

Wanna fork?

Maybe you can get one of your facebook friends to send you a toaster from farmville .

I have grown to greatly dislike facebook and especially farmville invitations that I refuse to even acknowledge exist until this post .

once they added the HIDE farmville (or whatever annoying app de jour) instead of having to totally HIDE a friend's feed, FB got better for me.

Facebook has helped me keep up with a few birthdays and find a some misplaced friends but for some reason I cant fathom my blood boils when people I like on there talk about religion and pedicures for all to see .
