Need some advice about a jerk off man!!!
« on: April 05, 2010, 12:18:18 AM »
Hello to Aidsmeds,
I am not sure if this is the right site, but I perused through medhelp archives to find basic information on safe sex and limited exposures but most of the responses are posted by men, not women. I am a woman and I would like from general information on my past choice and if testing is really warrented.

After a year and half of being celibate, I met a Tpain looking chocolate brother at the mall (Tpain is a rapper). He seemed sweet and after talking for 2 months we had sex a total of two times about two weeks ago, but with condoms. The condom was placed on his penis before he began any form of pentration and it stayed on. I do not believe the condoms broke or leaked and he even checked the darn things to make sure they were intact, maybe it was because of his long nails, who knows. He bought the magnum condoms, but it did stay on the whole time. Well, the guy turned out to be a total douche and stopped calling me and I  just found out that he has been to jail a couple of times on drug charges and he sleeps with other women, like 5. He is also uncircumcised!!!

Now we did converse ahead of time about his status and he claimed that he was lasted tested for HIV a couple of years ago and he was free of STDs, also he claimed that he consistently uses condoms because you never know. I was captivated and then, I had a night of the most unfullfilling sex ever.

My concern really lies with the sex! The first time, it was ok,however, the second time, he was rather rough and it was uncomfortable. I had to beg him to stop and he kept going until he was finished. It took over a week for my vagina to stop throbbing and for the tear around the vaginal opening to heal. Given the fact that we used a condom, what truly are my risks. I am glad I used a condom, but sometimes not so great things can happen to the best of us. Perhaps its a good thing the jerk has not called.  I made a bad partner choice out of loneliness and natural human needs. I hate myself right now!
I have not been feeling so hot, but the moderators made it clear that symptoms are never a good indicator for or against HIV. Any advice would be great.

You never had an exposure, you had protected sex.

You did exactly the right thing: you used condoms for intercourse. They provide very effective protection against the transmission of HIV. When you use a condom it doesn't matter if the person you are with is HIV+ because condoms do the job.

Read our lesson on Transmission. All the basics are there. There's a link to that lesson in the Welcome thread which opens this section.

I don't see any need for testing in relation to this incident. Just make sure everytime you have either vaginal or anal intercourse that the guy is always wearing a condom. No exceptions, no matter what you think you know about his history or how great he looks. Condoms are a must everytime.

Cheers.
