More and more details are coming out on the proposed final version of the health care reform bill (including "reconciliation")

A 3 page summary of the new laws:

An interactive feature over at the New York Times compares the major provisions of the Senate Bill with the Reconciliation Bill.

It shames me as a democrat that democratic reps and senators packed it with pork, and didn't manage a public option. But, its a miracle all the same and lovely if it passes.
Neverthesless we should vote most of them except Barney Frank out of office! Spineless mother f*cking liberals and for what - who even wants their crappy salary:  Why are the Democrats so worried about creating a new shining America???? What's the freaking hesitation???!!!!  I just don't get it.

Yes, you certainly can state you "don't get it". Because you don't, you appear to be ready to do exactly as the Republicans want you to do. Or, have you forgotten about something called the "2 Party System"?

I ask you this: If not for the Democrats, then for whom do you plan to vote? Do you really not understand WHY health reform was weakened? Where have you been for the last year?

What you, and I regret, many Democrats will do, is punish the DEMOCRATS for not being able to overcome an organized, professional, and loud campaign by the opposition to kill reform.

But, you state, wasn't it the fault of the Democratic "Liberals" for not overcoming this? Shouldn't they have been louder, shrewder, better organized, and just plain "better" in the battle?

Perhaps, I say. However, are you ready to bite off your nose to spite your face? This happened in 1994 when the health reform attempt failed then. So, instead of making it possible to perhaps succeed next time, the country gave the Congress to the Republicans. Thereby, virtually, no absolutely, Guaranteeing  a continuation of the status quo. Think about the Illogic of that.

You seem upset the Democrats weren't Radical enough to pass true reform. Where have you been for the last year? Do you remember the town hall meeting madness last summer? The other side is just as loud, vulgur, dishonest, radical, and stubborn as anything thrown at them. So, your fix for that is to bring back the Bush-Cheney, Gringrich, Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Fox complex into more power? Wow, that'll show the Democrats not to, well, what? Not to compromise? Not to bend? To disinform, lie, incite, do anything necessary to win?

Unfortunately, your strategy might, in some other dimension, work. But here, it would just as likely lead to another 8-12 years of Republican rule. Now, wouldn't that teach those "Liberals" to use tougher tactics.

Obama has been president a little over 1 year. Other than invade Iraq and Afghanistan, and lower taxes on the rich, what exactly did Bush-Cheney do in that time. In fact, what did they do for health reform in 8 years?

So, you admit you can't understand what happened to health reform. Well, in that case, I suggest you not even discuss it. What happened is quite clear to me.
