My Anniversary
« on: February 23, 2010, 01:16:05 PM »
Well this week will mark my 7th year of being diagnosed with HIV.  I sit back and think about my reaction and thoughts when I was first told.  I thought it was the end of the world, that I wouldn't be here today and that I would never have a healthy child.  Thankfully for me I was wrong.  Yes, I still have days when I think about being HIV poz but most days I don't.  I seem to sorry more about work, family, and just taking care of my wonderful son.  Who by the way is the light of my life.

Anyways, I just wanted to pat myself on the back today!

Hope everyone has a great week!

Brooke

Brooke,

You definately deserve a pat on the back. I hope I am as well seated as you are when my Virus turns 7. Congrats :)
