MEETING PLACES/EVENTS FOR POZ GUYS
« on: December 26, 2009, 04:07:03 PM »
Hey there one and all,

I read online about a org called HIVe, that organized events in NYC for poz guys. Not sure if they exist anymore.

I am wondering who out there knows if there are any special nights where poz guys can meet each other. I was told a few years ago by someone that the last Friday of the month poz guys go to the Monster to meet. I am not looking for sex hookups. I am just wondering where poz guys can meet each other, have a drink and get to know each other.

Thanks!

I would recommend that you track down SIN NYC.  SIN stands for Strength In Numbers and the NYC chapter is quite large.

I run a group/site in Texas called PozTexas.org that facilitates a similar monthly meetup.

While there are some guys who are involved to hookup, most simply enjoy the cameraderie and chit chat that goes on.
Don't obsess over the wrong things.  Life isn't about your numbers, it isn't about this forum, it isn't about someone's opinion.  It's about getting out there and enjoying it.   I am a person with HIV - not the other way around.
