I have a question... Me meds supposed to arrieve today but when I went to the post office the said they dont have nothing for me, If I have good luck on Monday...

How bad its be without meds for two days? I have to tell it to my docto on the next visit?  I take Atripla every nigh.

With some of the meds missing a dose or two is not as big of a deal, with some it is. It has to do with the "half life," or how long they stay in your system.

Luckily for you, Atripla is one of the combos where it's OK to miss one dose, even two because the drugs involved stay in your system for a couple of days after stopping. More than two days off I would worry but up to two days maximum you are probably fine.  I'd have to re-read the specifics of the study but I believe it applies to those who are already undetectable. If there is a viral load it might not be a good idea.

It's a good idea to order med refills as early as possible so that one can build up a small supply of extra meds for when these kinds of things happen.

Robert, make sure you don't take more than two days off max since that could be a problem. If by any chance they don't arrive Monday, I recommend you do everything you can to get a hold of a few pills to tide you over.

finally have my meds. ;D  The next step its verify the CD4 an VL the next week to see if everything its working right...so wich me luck...
