my grandfather passed today
« on: August 14, 2006, 09:49:35 PM »
I just posting this here instead of living or offtopic because of the cd.

I'm a bit saddened by it, but i haven't seen my parents or relatives in over 4 years and I won't be attending the funeral as it is this saturday.

I just ask that you keep a prayer in your hearts for him (even though i'm not religious at all).   Saturday may be a tough day for me knowing what is happening.

The cd is still a go, though we may be assembling them all on the plane enroute :( as I just don't have time to finish everything before I leave now, but all the important parts are done with 48 burned or so.

I know you may be thinking, why are you worrying about the cd at this moment?   I'm not, but I don't want to let everyone down either.

Puppy has secured a spot at Chez Friend for the duration of the trip (thank god.. didn't want to board her and I have nobody else to check on her (it's a friend from work, so i got a crate for her today.

This just came at such a bad time, but I guess there's never a good time for dying.

An extra hug or two or three would be welcome up there.

I kinda wish I could go to the funeral but that won't make a difference to him and we've all worked so hard on this event.

Rest in Peace John "Jack" Pierson.

So sorry to hear of your grandfather passing. Maybe you can get a working group together in Montreal to assist in getting the CD's together for everyone.

With deepest sympathy, Doug

Hi Dingo,

I'm really sorry to hear about your grandfather passing. I'll keep him in my thoughts but mostly you under the circumstances as you need it more than him now.

You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Sweet Bailey,

Thom and I extend our heart felt condolences to you and and your family at this time.

Pick up your grandfather's spirit and soar through the clouds and know that you are bringing with you another soul to AMG 06.

RIP, "Jack".  Your grandson is a one of a kind special sort of man.  We all love him as you did.

Hugs are coming, Bailey.  And kiss London for us, too.

Ric and Thom

Sweetie,

I am glad you will be around all of us.
You know how well we will be at showing emotions in Montreal.

There will be a hug around every corner, an arm to rest on and a heart to warm you.

There is no better place to come to at a time like this.
