HIV Community Health Care Reform Call
Thursday, August 20, 2009

2:00 pm Eastern/11:00 am Pacific

Passage of health care reform could be in danger of failing, due to efforts to draw media attention and a major disinformation campaign by those opposed to reform. The situation is challenging and the issues are complex, but there are specific things people who care about HIV/AIDS and access to health care canóand mustódo!! Please join this call, which is open to all community members. We will have special guests to provide updates and discuss how you can help. It is essential that the voices of people living with or at risk for HIV and HIV advocates are heard in this highly charged and rapidly moving health care reform debate!

Project Inform and the HIV Health Care Access Working Group convene the HIV Community Health Care Reform Conference Calls, open to all community members, on the first and third Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time/ 11:00 am Pacific.

You can also find summaries of calls at www.projectinform.org and bill analysis and background documents at www.taepusa.org. Future calls will be held September 3 and 17.

Call in numbers: 1-719-867-1472 or (toll-free only if really necessary) at 1-866-398-9973. The access code is 898086
