With Regret
« on: July 29, 2009, 10:22:08 AM »
Unfortunately, I have to make a last minute cancelation.  I am very sorry for the inconvience this will cause everyone.

Dennis -- Please let me know how much I owe for my part in the things you have already paid for send me a PM with where to send a check.

My partner (who I rarely mention since he is neg & I try to respect his privacy although I know he wouldn't care if did) was taken to the ER Sunday.  He had an angiogram yesterday and will need triple/quadruple bypass surgery on Friday (31 Jul).  He was born with a congenital heart defect so this will be his 3rd open heart surgery.

I'm greatly saddened that I won't be able to meet all of you (there's always next year) but his health has to come first (especially after all he's done to get me better).

Hugs!
AA

Needless to say, regrets that I won't get to meet you in person.

Hi andy

I'm sorry to hear the news.  I do hope your partner recovers quickly and with no problems.  I certainly  understand this can be a stressful situation.  Any time spent in a hosiptial is stressful.

I was looking forward to meeting you.  I sent little Mims a book on Sybil Ludington.  She is supposed to give us an oral report.  I told her you were the expert on Sybil and that she would be teaching the rest of us about all things Sybil.

We will miss you.

Andy, I am so sorry to hear about the upcoming surgery.  You will be exactly where you should be - at his side, holding his hand.  While I'm sad you won't be joining us, I certainly understand.  I guess Mim will have to call you and give her report about Sybil Ludington to you orally ;D

If there's anything that we can do, just let us know.

Andy,

You will be where you are needed most.  Having a husband with health issues, I know about priorities and such.

The AMG Boston group's thoughts are with you and your partner and I'm sure that prayers will be offered for both of you.

Love and hugs to you both, Ric & Thom

We will miss you in Boston, but you have something more important.  For now!  See you at another AMG!

I wanted to thank all of you for you very kind words and all that positive energy flowing our way.

I showed him this thread and it brought a smile to his face to see all the people who I have never met and he has only heard about 2nd hand care so much!!!

Here's hoping this will be your best AMG yet and that I will get to see you all next year once he is back in fight form (so to speak)  :D

Hugs to All!

I'll be praying for your partner's health.  You are definitely making the right choice to stay back and support him, though I wish circumstances were different!
