MSN.COM is running a poll...Click on to the website and under msnbc.com news on the right hand side of the page there is a poll asking:

"Should the U.S. entry ban on HIV-positive foreigners be lifted?

The poll asks people to respond:
Yes, of course.  HIV isn't like tuberculosis or swine flu.  You don't get it through casual contact.

No.  HIV is a serious, costly disease.  Why invite the spread and the expense?

Not sure.
  --------------------------------

I voted and then saw the disappointing results so far that 72%  said NO, it is a serious, costly disease.
Only 24% said YES, the ban should be lifted.

Click here for direct link to poll vote.  And, uh, right now the vote isn't going so swell for the "dirty" folks with teh AIDS.

And of course the real fun can be found in the comments section.

Howdy kids,

I just voted.  I will not be discouraged... it is a simple fact that people don't fully understand HIV.  I'll cross my fingers and look up.  I'm tired of looking down.

Bubba hugs!
