old exposure
« on: May 12, 2009, 07:55:42 PM »
dear All,

I have been reading posts on medhelp, the body and Poz for couple of months. and concluded that handjob(with or without secretions), french kissing, any kind of oral and body massage is no risk.  please correct me if I am wrong.

I have two  major questions.

1. I had 8 to 10 unprotected exposures around 1987 to 1994. never got tested at that time and then got married have two wonderful children(10 and 12). but believe when we emigrated to canada from india that they may have tested us for hiv(but not sure).
second time I think i applied for life insurance in 2006 and the nurse came to my house in canada for the blood. and believe that they also tested me for the hiv(but not sure) but i think they mentioned hiv on consent form. do you think do they test for hiv for these purposes.?

2.  i moved to china for work in 2006 and they tested for everything and the report says neg for hiv1 and hiv 2 for both me and my wife.

i am little OCD and worry all the time.. please feel free to suggest do I need any more testing.

i'll highly appreciate that

If you know that you were negative why did you post? We can't help you with your OCD.

Roger,

Yes, insurance companies test for hiv and yes, you can trust the tests in China. You do not have hiv.

If you can't put this behind you, go get tested and collect yet another negative result. As Rodney says, we cannot help you with your OCD here and you will not be permitted to use this website as a substitute for face-to-face help.
