oh jeepers! I'm this weeks poster chiild for hiv!
« on: August 08, 2006, 08:55:40 PM »
Well, as some of you may have seen, I now have a rotating banner ad on aidsmeds.com and poz.com advertising my videoblog.

Um... does this mean I need to start blogging more?

It kinda freaks me out a bit because:
  • I'm still not entirely comfortable with people knowing i'm hiv positive
  • before I used to be pretty anonymous with not a tremendous amount viewers
  • Is what I say that interesting?
  • I don't want to take away from other bloggers and hope they add adverts for every blogger in the future, which i'd be happy to make

I'm not the smartest or brightest or able to write with such insight like some of the other bloggers, but I do my own thing.   I'm not putting myself down, just know that I'm only one of many who have things to say or write.

Thanks to aidsmeds.com and poz.com for this opportunity (though it does freak me out a bit still)  eeep!

Bailey,

Just keep on being YOU, you're doing great!  (and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so).

Hugs,

Alan

Hey I just got the DINGO banner! Way cool!

Bailey, you are more than famous. You are INfamous. :)

i am getting my friend jen's vidcam back tomorrow to borrow, so hopefully i can do another high quallity vidblog before i leave for montreal.

I don't own a camera myself.  So for those out there, I beg a videocam that has firewire capacity to connect directlly to a computer.

I'm accepting donation if anyone has and old cam that has firewire.

I just can't afford a decent camera at the time but do have occasional access to use my friends digicam.

hell, maybe I should ask for sponsors (is that even allowed?)   Maybe send requests to the digicam companies asking for a refurb unit with appropriate credits.

Somebody can give me a digicam that will work with a firewire.

Echo Bailey, you deserve to have the best quality that there is. Check with refurbishing manufactuers or even e-bay.

we all told you your last video was great.
On another note I was reading an article in the WSJ last month about a newly married couple who had a blog and were making $6,000 a day off of clicks or however it works.

As sleazy as it may feel,  try a Pawn Shop. although I'd probablly trust Ebay first.

Bailey is this the reason you got your locks cut off and hair dyed so u could look your best as your mug was going to be featured on the rotating banners?  :)
