Got my bloods back. On viramune. epivir and zerit. I have been undetectable for 7 months. My t-cells are up to 776 from 500 in January. BUT, WHY IS MY CD4% STUCK IN THE LOW 20's?!!! THIS IS ANNOYING.

A cd4 percentage of 14 = Aids diagnosis. How can I have 776 t-cells and a cd4% of 22? Its really stressing me out big time!!!

Why are you letting this stress you out?  Your meds are working (although, this is a strange combo -- not too many folks still use zerit).

A CD4% of 22 is no bad thing and nowhere near the 14% aids diagnosis number. Give it time and it will go up, now that you're undetectable.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
