Relationship problem ....
« on: April 07, 2009, 01:00:49 PM »
Hi all,

I have been diagnosticad HIV + in January like some people here know ... The day I was diagnosticated, an ex boyfriend came back to talk to me saying he miss me (I know things are strange sometimes). And the fact is I was still in love with him. This helped me a lot during my first months since I was HIV + but I was with my boyfriend .... I of course immediatly told him that I was poz and he was ok saying that we had to deal with it. Evrything was wonderful for 3 month, I had very good time with him and I tried to explain him and not scared him. I meat his familly, his parents. Even his parents knew I was poz and there were very nice with me. Last week end he told me that he wanted to stop .... That he was always scared about this disease and that he could not handle it since he is scared to be infected. I told him that if we were careful, he don't have to worry about anything. I was ready to go on treatement to reduce risk in case of condom broke and I told him also about PEP. But no ... that's was too much for him ...

I'm of course now completly under everything, I had hope when I was diagnosed because I was back with him. But now I'm like nobody will ever want to be with me again. And I really love him deeply. I just don't know what my life will be and I'm really confused.... I lost all hope about the futur. Just like I had a new HIV positive test last week end.....

Maybe dating an HIV+ will sound easier to you then.
But don't desesperate. Despite my status, I have been lucky to find plenty HIV- willing to commit with me, no matter my status. And I finally marry last month.
It's not that I want talk about me. I just want to illustrate that it is not because one HIV- have broke up with you now that all will.
And he still was staying with you these 3 months.
The next one will maybe last longer.

I hopes for ever plus one day.

Keep Well
John

over the course of two years being involved with a hiv- guy was more exhausting for me than what one could think of. As long as he had it his way everything was ok, me who was i that my emotions feelings be of no concern????

you are special and deserve all the happiness one can get and have. so my message to you is where one door closes another one will open a better person will be in your life that will compliment you and see you as an equal.

I met another guy who blew my socks off he is 14 years older than me but damn where has he been all my life???? well for me to have met him i had to close the old doors of hurt and tears before I could move forward...... btw he is also a pozzy like me...... never settle for less settle for the best we are all equal negative or positive as the Divine did not make rejects he made the best he made you......
Bide the Wiccan law ye must,
In perfect love and perfect trust
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill
An' ye harm none, do what ye will.

What ye send forth comes back to thee,
so ever mind the Law of three,
follow this with mind and heart,
Merry ye meet, and merry ye part.
