Hi everyone,

I always like to give an update of my progression so I can listen to everyone opinion. 

12/24/08 620 (33%) vl 3280 no meds

Please tell me if I am getting worse or better or anything at all?

Nick -- it's almost impossible to tell from only 2 test results, given how variable the results can be from these two tests.  For instance, your CD4s could have shown those 2 results on the same day if you had drawn blood in the morning and afternoon -- that's how variable the results can be.  The variation on viral load numbers can be much greater, which is why folks measure them in logs (a 1 log change means something -- anything less is just noise).

Bottom line, you need to look at trends over time, which will mean 3 or 4 points in time.

Your VL is great, and you've got a very healthy level of CD4s.  Consider yourself one of the lucky ones!
